Eric Kwok is one of the busiest close-up magicians working at events in the UK. He was born in a house full of playing cards - his father was the former Chairman of the Bridge Club at the University of Hong Kong. At a young age, he developed an interest in magic; from there on, what began as a mere hobby became a lifelong passion - he was known to never leave home without a pack of playing cards in hand!
After graduating with a Master of Pharmacy from the University of Newcastle, Eric worked in a community pharmacy in the oldest town in Australia and performed at important events and parties at different venues across the country. In 2020, Eric moved back to London to follow his passion of working full time as a magician.
Magic might be one of the best 'antidepressants' without any side effects (apart from wanting more...) after all!
Former President of the Magic Society

Eric is the former President of the Magic Society (University of Nottingham), representing the largest student-run magic society in the UK. He has plenty of experience giving weekly lectures about magic and working at functions inside and outside the university.
Satisfied clients include the British Army, The Royal College of Surgeons, UNICEF, TEDxUoN, Jack Wills and more!
Apart from that, he organised the trip to the world's largest magic convention in Blackpool and also directed the very first charity gala show in the society's history, aiming to promote live magic and raise the awareness of cancer research by featuring world-class magic acts and donating 100% of the show's profit to Cancer Research Nottingham.
